I am writing to you today as the founder of Pivoting In Heels, a pan-African movement of female leaders dedicated to navigating crises and fostering innovation in challenging times. It is my honor to share with you our mission and the incredible work we are doing to reshape the African narrative and empower women across the globe.

How we do it

We do it in three simple but very effective steps

Step 1

Appraise

Guide women in business with open enrolment training programs like guru talks with subject matter experts, master classes, assessment and certification. We target skill and competence enhancement with the help of customized enterprise training and transformation initiatives. We inform members of potential market opportunities as well.

Step 2

Amplify

The networking and partnerships help business development and growth. With our mentoring, strategic communications and a wide spectrum of conferences, seminars, big vision workshops, experience sharing and storytelling sessions, the women entrepreneurs can build a high-yielding nexus for their businesses.

Step 3

Advise

Guide women in business with the help of webinars, policy dialogues, and leader/stakeholder round tables mentoring support. We provide current state and need assessment to bridge the gaps by helping women entrepreneurs run a more efficient business and help publish surveys, reports and whitepapers thereon.

I am writing to you today as the founder of Pivoting In Heels, a pan-African movement of female leaders dedicated to navigating crises and fostering innovation in challenging times. It is my honor to share with you our mission and the incredible work we are doing to reshape the African narrative and empower women across the globe.

As a media owner, I have always been passionate about credible, transformative storytelling on all platforms. In 2021, amidst the height of the pandemic, I founded Pivoting In Heels with a vision to create a community where female leaders could come together, support one another, and thrive even in the face of adversity. This movement has quickly gained momentum, becoming a symbol of courage, ambition, and forward-thinking among women leaders.

During the pandemic, we published the Kenyan edition of Pivoting In Heels, a glossy coffee table book that chronicled the journeys of 50 female CEOs. Through their stories, we showcased the resilience, innovation, and determination that arose from this crisis. Times of hardship have a way of revealing the courage and strength we did not know we possessed. We refused to succumb to defeat and instead emerged as conquerors, determined to make a difference.

In addition to our publication, we also organize powerful forums and events such as the Eve Woman of the Year awards, the Woman of Influence series, Women In Business, and the Digital Disruption Conference. These gatherings bring together influential policymakers, business leaders, media practitioners, and the general public. It is in these spaces that ideas are exchanged, connections are forged, and inspiration is ignited. We firmly believe that collaboration and unity are vital in paving the way for a better future for women.

Our commitment to empowering women extends beyond networking events. We offer mentorship programs to young and dynamic women who aspire to become CEOs, executives, or business founders. Through these programs, we aim to provide guidance and support, ensuring that aspiring leaders have the tools they need to succeed.
